What is a kitchen tool lending library?
We are a library, but instead of lending books we lend kitchen tool and appliances! We hope to make culinary projects possible for all
Can anyone borrow these kitchen tools?
Any Southeast Portland resident (see map) who is over 18 can become a Kitchen Share SE member and borrow tools.
Where are you located?
We are located at Saint David of Wales Episcopal Church. It is a community hub filled with also sorts of wonderful organizations and groups including the SE Portland Tool Library.
When will the library open?
Kitchen Share SE will open Summer 2012. We will post more information on our website when we have an opening date. Please check back.
Can I donate my tools?
Thanks for thinking of us! We would love to take your donation depending on our current needs. Please see our wish list to see what sorts of tools we are seeking.
Are you a 501(c)(3) non-profit?
We do indeed have a 501(c)(3) status as a nonprofit! We are fiscally sponsored and supported through Southeast Uplift.
Are my donations tax deductible?
Yes, monetary and in-kind donations are tax deductible. We are fiscally sponsored by SE Uplift and would be happy to provide you with a receipt for your kindly donations.
